Anthony Williams scored 22 points to lead Grambling St. to a 69-67 win over Alabama St. Thursday night.
Williams hit eight out of 14 shots and had eight rebounds. Andre Ratliff added 15 points and hit four out of six shots for Grambling St. (13-11, 11-6).
Alabama St. led by one point at the half, 30-29, but Grambling took control of the second half for the win.
Joel Bosh led the Hornets with 15 points. Akeim Claborn added 14 points for (11-17, 9-8). Richard Lott had nine rebounds.

Richard Lott scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds, leading Alabama State to a 72-66 victory over Texas Southern on Saturday.
The Hornets (5-14, 3-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference) trailed 36-34 at halftime, but outscored the Tigers 38-30 in the second half.
Jacques Jones led the Tigers (4-16, 2-6) with 13 points and three others reached double figures despite the loss. Sean Walker had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Courtenay Brown and Leonta Matthews each added 10 points.
Texas Southern also outrebounded the Hornets 45-36, despite being held to 35.8 percent shooting.
But Alabama State outscored the Tigers 24-22 in the paint, 20-10 off turnovers and 27-18 off the bench.

Andrew Hayles scored 13 points and Cedric Mitchell followed with 12 to help lead the Alabama State Hornets to their fourth straight win and a 60-46 victory over Arkansas Pine Buff on Monday night.
The Hornets (8-14, 6-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference) are now in a three-way tie for fourth place in the league.
Alabama State held the Golden Lions (7-11, 4-6) to 25 percent shooting from the field and outrebounded them 49-31.
V'Angelo Smith led Arkansas-Pine Bluff with 12 points and Torian Noel added 10 for the Golden Lions.
ASU took the lead at 15:49 in the first half and never trailed again, leading by as much as 12 points in the first before closing the half ahead 30-24.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff came within five points early in the second, but the Hornets stretched it back to double digits.

Akeim Claborn scored a game-high 19 points and Andrew Hayles followed with 18 to help lift Alabama State to a 78-70 victory over Prairie View on Monday night.
The Hornets (6-14 Southwestern Athletic Conference) came off a 72-66 win over Texas Southern on Saturday for their fourth straight win.
Prairie View (3-17) was led by Chris Gaines with 18 points and Dominique Sharpe scored 13. Claborn and Prairie View's Clifford Franks tied for a game-high nine rebounds.
Alabama State led 42-32 at the half and shot 4-of-14 from 3-point range compared to the Panthers' 3-of-10 shooting from the same distance.
